Anthropomorphizing Animals

Anyone who really spends time around animals has to admit that there is ‘something’ there behind those eyes, even in the eyes of those that you just meet through a camera lens for a few moments.

Going through the photos I took of the sheep that had grazed the hillside behind my home, I love seeing that moment when they actually, wonders of wonders, stop eating and gaze straight at me.

There is a ‘spark’ of some sort of personality…an intelligence?

And of course there is just simple cuteness.

I am glad I am not a farmer and I don’t have to look on these creatures as a commodity.

Life is much simpler on my end to just gaze from afar and enjoy the view.
